Positive Behaviour - Rewards and Consequences

Chancellor's Positive Behaviour for Learning System

At Chancellor's School our Positive Behaviour for Learning System aims to create an achievement culture through regular praise and reward. We want to celebrate the many successes of our students whilst challenging and dealing with unacceptable behaviour quickly and efficiently.

In line with the school's Positive Behaviour for Learning Policy, the rewards and sanctions are listed below.

Positive Reward System

Staff at Chancellor’s should recognise and reward students’ good behaviour across the school.

  • Points are added when rewards are achieved and deducted when sanctions are given.
  • Overall point totals count towards House Point totals and some of the reward events that take place during the year.
