Chancellor’s has a proud history as a community school, built for and by the local community it serves. That heritage matters. We believe that every child in our school community deserves an exceptional education. 

As Headteacher, I am driven by an unrelenting belief that all students can achieve, enjoy and excel.  I have the highest expectations of our students and of ourselves as professionals, because we know that young people rise to the standards we set. We will never place limits on what our students can achieve. Instead, we work together to remove barriers, broaden horizons and create opportunities, delivering a rich and ambitious curriculum that enables every child to fulfil their potential.  

Above all else, Chancellor’s is a place for learning. We believe that every student has the right to learn in a calm, purposeful and disruption-free environment. Our culture is built on respect, kindness, responsibility and high standards. We are warm in our relationships, but uncompromising in our expectations, because we know that the greatest act of care is to help young people become the very best version of themselves.

We ensure our students are academically successful, but our vision extends far beyond examination results. We want our students to develop confidence, character and resilience. We want them to discover their passions, contribute to their community, embrace new experiences and leave Chancellor's equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through our extensive extra-curricular programme, student leadership opportunities, house system and wider enrichment activities, we are committed to providing an education that extends well beyond the classroom.
